Boarding School
So today I noticed a student at my school hadn’t been around, we’ll call her Jenn. I asked my friend “Carl” about Jenn, whom he doesn’t particularly like. He started laughing and had told me that Jenn was suspended, I naturally asked “why”? As it turns out, Jenn was one of the people that went on the recent washington DC trip. Apparently, she had found some 23 year old who lived in the area, on facebook, and invited him up to her hotel room. She proceeded to have sex with him for Booze, and at the end of the wonderful night, he jacked all of her and her friend’s shit. Needless to say, she got suspended, only three days mind you, but yeah. I thought you readers would find this a little entertaining.

FUCKING HAT,
Objection,
Phoenix Wright
On the left, we have the Phoenix Wright that we all know and love. There he is in all his glory, in his snazzy blue suit and with his amazing hair, pointing his finger in the name of justice. On the right, we have Phoenix Wright from Apollo Justice, wearing a hat and hoody, looking like a bum.
My friends, I can stay quiet about this matter no longer. I’m sorry, Sigue, but it has to be said. CAPCOM has no right to cover up this once great man with a hat, hoody and stubble and force him into retirement! The depiction of Phoenix Wright in this way is degrading, not only for the character himself but for all those who idolize him. Phoenix Wright is a great man, a champion of justice with amazing hair! He always has been, and he should continue to be so! It is for this reason alone that I despise Apollo Justice.

Think of your typical asian’s math mark: 90% class mark and 85% exam mark?
Well, my math class mark is 71% and my math exam mark is 70%. I am happy about that. Very happy. Just as a comparison btw, the class average is around 67% or so.
P.S. Nis is still sick. =P
P.P.S. Thank you Cyber34 for editting that image for me.

So Flame-Haze, a regular in the Japanator IRC (#japanator, irc.irchighway.net) tried to pass off this lousy, giant, poorly lit panty shot of his Louise figure (bustier version– if you own this, I hate you).
That said, I couldn’t just let a crappy picture of my Louise-sama go by without comment. Or better yet…improvement!

Topless Robot shares a truly blah ad from the WonderCon program book for something Ghostbusters-related at San Diego Comic Con later this year.
Now, before I move on to speculation, let’s talk about this ad. Specifically, let’s talk about how dumb it looks. First, it looks ugly. Second, it looks oldschool and cheap, and not in an amusing fashion. Third, it looks like it’s got a bad location– it appears to be next to some kind of ad for an OEL manga. Ghostbusters deserves a full-page glossy ad, bitches! (No matter what Kuro tells you.)
And finally, if you’re going to talk about something in “the neighborhood,” why not use the goddamn lyrics of the still-well-known hit single from the original movie in your series?! That would mean saying SOMETHING STRANGE IS COMING TO YOUR NEIGHBORHOOD. “Exciting” is such a meaningless word. If you’re not going to tie in the lyrics, can’t you at least use something more descriptive?
Right then, on to the speculation. Rob doesn’t seem inclined to think that it’s going to be a new movie. HOWEVER! You may notice a little red box in the upper-left corner. That would be my doing; it’s a zoom-in of a little spot I noticed on the poster. At first glance I thought it said “PC” (so it would refer to the previously announced game, or perhaps a new game project– maybe a Ghostbusters MMO?).
But when I looked at it further I couldn’t deny that the little black box around the letters makes it look an awful lot like the MPAA’s PG rating, which WOULD imply a movie. But another possibility? Well– TV has a PG rating, too.
So, either something is going on with the Ghostbusters game (which is, by the way, due out in Fall– shortly after SDCC, so it could just be an attempt to drum up excitement), or there’s a new game in the works, or possibly a new movie or TV series.
WE SHALL SEE. What do you think it’ll be?

Persona 3
Well, we waited two weeks or so and finally Atlus’ ridiculously long countdown is over. Whats the big announcement? Shin Megami Tensei: Persona 3 FES is finally coming to this side of the pond. I’m sure that everyone else who has played Persona 3 is as excited as I am that this is finally coming to North America. But here’s the thing, I’d be more excited if I hadn’t known that it was going to be FES as soon as they put the countdown up on their website two weeks ago. Way to make it totally obvious and reuse the countdown clip from the Persona 3 opening, Atlus.
Anyways, here’s hoping that they include the Japanese voices this time around as well. With people like Mamiko Noto, Rie Tanaka and Maaya Sakamoto I’m surprised that they took the Japanese voice track out entirely.
