…Now with added flavor, substance and even a little cyanide!
I said I would participate in the endeavor of reviving Jerkpop, but I wasn’t exactly sure it would happen so soon. Hell, I went on vacation to Destin, Florida for 5 days and you guys freakin’ bang out posts like babies in Mexico! Seriously guys, what the hell? Anyway so like I said I’ve been on vacation. Why, I bet you are asking. WHY NOT?! Yeah.
Anyway, I’m Axia. Names Axia. Call me Axia. Not much else to say right now, I’m on Fail Dial Up so…I’ll have to bum off of Stigs connection to do any seriously bad ass Axia writing. Though I am along for the Fail Ride. Oh, I forgot to mention…
THE FUCK I WANTED IN ON THE JERKPOD BITCHES! *angry fist-shake*

As much as I state it, I love fighting games. But one thing in particular has always bothered me. I have always leaned toward the 2d realm of fighters. 3d is is fun, but I grew up on a steady diet of Street Fighter, King of Fighters, Samurai Showdown, etc. (Never jumped on the Mortal Kombat bandwagon.) I honestly thought the days of a 2d revival were a faint and dying hope. Soul Calibur, Tekken, Virtua Fighter was where everyone else was. Then I see the announcement for Street Fighter 4. NOT a rumor. NOT a on a developers wish list. Honest to god new Street Fighter. Good stuffs after the jump.

awesomeness,
Mass Effect,
you got a movie in my videogame
I would have totally made this post yesterday, but the yerkpod re-recording tied me up…so here it is now.

I originally watched Axia play this game for several hours and found it really enjoyable to watch. This is probably one of the only games I can say this about. So, after I had the ability to borrow games, I decided to try out Mass Effect on the Xbox 360. Yes, 1080i is pretty and yes, 5.1 surround sound is awesome. That does not help this game one bit. The gameplay feels like a plastic $5 airsoft gun compared to an actual $600 gun. Nasty and gross!
Continuing my story down here… days later, I broke down and bought the PC version on promises of better graphics and a better mid-game ability system. They delivered on their promise, also nailing the gameplay with the keyboard and mouse. The game feels so much better and focused on the PC.
I’ll spend more time with it, and give the full assesment after I finish (could be a while).

That’s a picture of my crew and myself hangin out at the citadel.
