No one has post in forever, so here’s a poem/song i wrote for litt society today.

Love Rhymes With Addiction

Her hair had the scent of that sweet smell of snow.
When it melts on my nose I’m at the top of the world.
But when the snow melts away I feel so cold
Sitting there craving her hair , I’m told

Her words, a pinch in my every vein.
Her thoughts pushed in, my heart . cemented tar on the road
When the poppy seed fields of her voice ran out
The sweats and the tears and the vomits are about

Love is a drug, the increasing beat tells me so
Love is a drug, my brain’s fucked with woe
Love is an addiction, and Addiction is love
Love is an addiction, and Addiction is love

Her eyes make me sense things from beyond
Her tears are chemicals from all divine
But when she goes away, and the hallucinations stay
My brain makes me pay, oh how my brain makes me pay

Her body is that of the angels
Her wing’s dust reds my eyes
The times she’s driven me with delusion
Will break down the heat in my soul
