Hello Jerkpop. Do you know what upcomming fighting game I’m most excited for? No, its not Street Fighter IV, no its not Soul Calibur IV (although the fact that Shura is in it, who was created by Hiroya Oku (of gantz fame) makes me soooo happy), nor is it even the Final Fantasy Dissidia, the FF fighter comming out on the PSP. I’m most excited for Blaz Blue. Have you not heard of this game? Its by the creators of Guilty Gear, my favourite fighting series, and is pretty much a spiritual succesor. Any fan of 2d fighters needs to get this. Here is the trailer folks!

There’s really not much I’m posting about other than to let people know that yes, I am alive. There are reasons I haven’t been posting, namely that I can’t think up a good story. What is the solution, you ask? Videos! I saw this gem running around the IRC, and then was commanded by Stig to watch it, so here you go.

According to Court Records, in Edgeworth’s upcomming game, Phoenix Wright will have no more of an appearance than a mere cameo. This is a travesty. I could handle Phoenix not being the main character in Ace Attourney 4, hell, AA4 ended up being the best of the games in my opinion, but.. no more than a cameo? WRIGHT DESERVES MORE THAN THIS! What the hell are the developers at capcom thinking? Edgeworth is quite awesome (though Godot and Klavier are even more so), but wouldn’t be anything without Wright. First with the 3d person investigations, 2nd with the No trials, 3rd with the no wright? Will Gyakuten Kenji even be a good game?

Last night while prowling about on the internetz, I came across a video that can even melt the heart of Satan.  Do you know how seriously bad ass such a video would have to be?  Do you? Watch this video.   Be amazed at the cuteness.  BE AMAZED! By the way, I watched and listened to this video for almost an hour.  Over and over and OVER.  Stig-san has seen it a few times himself.  If some of you cold hearted bastards suddenly want to hug puppies, do not blame it on me.  BLAME IT ON CLANNAD AND DANGO DANGO AND POKEMANS!!

Yea, I know. I usually don’t post any anime news, but on this occasion, I have to make an exception.

As you may or may not know, gia and Kuro is at the New York Comic Con hitting it o–, I mean, giving us news from the Con…Uh, yea. The best thing I’ve heard so far aside from the silence of not having to hear Kuro’s whining is that Bandai Entertainment has acquire the license to Gurren Lagann. According to gia’s blog, Bandai will release a sub only release this July and the full goodness early next year.

Really, I don’t wanna take gia’s glory for giving us the news. GO READ HER BLOG HERE!
