Hello to poor souls who have traveled through the vast interweb world and ended up on our site! I am your host for the podcast and one of the poster for this blog, Nis.

Welcome to JerkPop, the bloggity blog blog home of…Jerk Pop. Which is short for JIRCPUOPOIRCCW. Which stands for the Japanator Internet Relay Chat Podcast: the Unofficial Official Podcast Of the Internet Relay Chat Channel of the Website.

In other words, a bunch of crazy-ass people from #japanator on irc.irchighway.net (which is the official IRC channel of the website Japanator) get together once a week and dish on pop culture, their lives, and whatever else we feel like. It tends to involve a lot of anime and porn.

Note that this site is in NO way officially related to Japanator. We don’t take credit for their shit and they don’t get to take credit for ours! But we do love them. They’re good peoples. …

So if you want to see what this whole Japanator thing is about, it’s basically a blog about Japan culture and other crazy stuff like that. Head on over there to check it out.

So far there has already been four episodes (including a special episode for valentine’s day) done for this podcast. I hope to put them up soon, or if you head over to this post on the Japanator Forums to download them without having to wait for me to mess around with all the ftp and get it on to the blog.

That’s pretty much it for now! I’m not sure where exactly we’d be going with this podcast and site, but I sure hope YOU will continue to support us!
