Parasite Eve 3!? HOLY SCHNIT!

Apparently this isn’t ground breaking news, but this is the first I’ve heard of it! There is a third installment of the Parasite Eve series coming to the PSP. It was originally intended to be released as a mobile phone game, but the jump was made to the PSP recently, it seems. Not too much is known about the game at this point, or at least not that I can find, but it seems that the game focuses on an enemy called the Twisted. They apparently appear from some sort of time rift that you learn about through the game. A weapon is developed to fight them, which only Aya can use due to her special powers. The special powers she possesses also allow her to still have the appearance of a 20 year old, which she no longer is (the game takes place in 2009-2010, I believe).

What I really wanna know, but have yet to find anything out about, is the connection these Twisted people have with the Neo-Mitochondrial Creatures featured in the first two games. They didn’t die out with the second game, just slowed down. I can’t wait to play this game, but is seems we’ll have to be waiting til late next year.
