Welcome To JerkPop.

First and foremost, I would like to welcome you to JerkPop, formerly known as JIRCPUOPOIRCCW (The Japanator IRC Podcast, The Unofficial Official Podcast of the Official IRC Channel of the Website). Nis and Kurono-K seemed to be having a competition to see who could write the best introductory post so I jumped in to write one myself. I am TubeOxen, quite possibly the slowest talker that you’ll ever hear on a podcast. In all honesty, all I really do for this podcast is sit along the sidelines and wait for an opportunity to throw in my stupid comments, like a predator stalking it’s prey (Although if I were to be more accurate, like a sloth, hanging on the branch just waiting to move my arm a couple more inches).

I would love to say that I was one of the people who came up with the idea to start this podcast, but in reality none of this would have happened if it were not for the porn bots of the Japanator forums. This is where it all started. Now, almost a month and a half after our first recording we have 4 episodes recorded, a special Valentine’s Day episode, and a spanking new website (Thanks to Gia Manry, the notable anime critic, manga expert and Latex-Pumpkin Headed, many-gasmask wearing, Ruthless Pornbot which is covered with tattoos of the phrase “Yarr Plunder” who attacks people with cold hard facts from her 4-dimensional “pocket.”).
